United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Arizona (UCPSA) proudly announces the launch of its Respitality program, a groundbreaking initiative designed to support families caring for individuals with disabilities. This program, enabled by a collaboration with local resorts like Loews Ventana Canyon and Hacienda Del Sol, as well as significant support from the Arby’s Foundation, aims to provide parents or guardians with overnight stays at luxurious resorts and essential childcare support, offering a much-needed break from their caregiving duties.
By uniting the generosity of local hospitality partners with the initial financial backing of the Arby’s Foundation, the Respitality program seeks to bridge the gap for families who face financial barriers to experiencing such relief. The foundation is committed to aiding communities where Arby’s is present and has awarded nearly 200 grants nationwide, including one to UCPSA as Tucson’s local recipient.
Chief Operating Officer Rhonda Murray stated, “The grant from the Arby’s Foundation was crucial in realizing the Respitality program. Together with the support of our local favorite resorts, we are set to make a significant positive impact on families across Southern Arizona, providing them with the respite and recognition they deserve.”
