At UCPSA's Tucson location, we are committed to enhancing the lives of those with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, as well as seniors requiring assistance at home. Our approach in Tucson centers on building meaningful, respectful relationships between our clients and Direct Care Workers, who are deeply committed to providing personalized care and support.

Our Program Managers in Tucson excel in devising care plans that integrate smoothly into our clients’ daily lives, thereby improving their overall well-being. The Direct Care Workers at our Tucson center have all passed thorough background checks and hold certifications in CPR and First Aid, embodying our foundational principles of dignity and compassion in every interaction.

Proudly part of UCPSA, our Tucson team collaborates extensively with local entities such as the Division of Developmental Disabilities and Banner Health to offer comprehensive, accessible support services across all age groups, from young children to the elderly.

Every day at UCPSA Tucson, we assist children and adults with diverse disabilities through top-tier home-based support services. Our offerings in Tucson include personal care, hygiene, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and additional household tasks associated with consumer care.

Additionally, UCPSA Tucson provides relief for parents and guardians of individuals with disabilities, offering them a break from their usual caregiving duties. We also deliver behavioral services, behavioral training, and a range of habilitation services aimed at fostering independent living.

Home & Community Based Services in Tucson

Attendant Care

Attendant Care is personalized, non-medical assistance provided to individuals with disabilities or the elderly who require support to perform daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. This care aims to promote independence and improve individuals' quality of life, allowing them to live safely and comfortably in their homes or communities.

Habilitation

Habilitation is a range of services designed to assist individuals with disabilities in acquiring, retaining, and improving the self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to live in their communities as independently as possible. These services are tailored to each person's needs and goals and are provided in the person’s home or community setting.

Respite Care

Respite Care & Foster Care Respite provides short-term relief for primary caregivers, offering a temporary break from the demanding caregiving routine.

Housekeeping

Housekeeping is provided to individuals or family members who are unable to complete light housekeeping/chores on their own.

Individually Designed Living Arrangements Services in Tucson

Individually Designed Living Arrangements (IDLAs) provide opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities, regardless of degree of disability, to live in homes that they own or lease with support available as often and for as long as it is needed. These individuals live alone or with a roommate and need extra support to maintain an independent life.

UCPSA usually provides Habilitation services and/or Attendant Care supports for individuals living in IDLAs.

WorkAbility Program in Tucson

Workability is an individualized and supportive employment program that teaches and prepares people with disabilities for competitive, integrated, sustainable work opportunities.
